Lara Watson

Lara is a UK Hypopressives Level 2 Advanced trainer and an award-winning Women’s Health Specialist Physiotherapist, based on Sir Ynys Mon, North Wales.

Having originally graduated with a BSc Physiotherapy from the University of Liverpool in 1998, Lara went on to study at Bradford University to qualify as a Women’s Health Specialist in 2012. Her desire to provide a holistic and forward-thinking approach then lead her to training as a Level 1 Hypopressives Instructor in 2016 and complete a Breathwork Diploma in 2024.

Lara has been presented with 2 NHS awards for Excellence and Innovation, for her progressive work in the field of Womens’ Health.

With a passion for empowering women to understand, improve and take control of their feminine health, Lara has recently founded MyCorePhysio, and provides 1:1 sessions, small group workshops and residential retreats at various venues on Ynys Mon and the surrounding area.

Hypopressive exercise has become the cornerstone of Lara’s work, due to its far-reaching effects and accessibility. As a runner and triathlete, and having historically struggled with chronic pelvic girdle pain and a prolapse due to overload, Lara has a particular interest in introducing Hypopressives to fellow athletes as an enjoyable way to boost sporting performance, whilst safeguarding feminine health.
